The Best of the Area

As “Stroll” Magazine celebrates its first year since we relaunched, we are so grateful for all that we have to enjoy in the Valley and for our lifestyle here. This summer brought us lots of activities from the usual Diamondback games to 2 nights with country music's it boy, Morgan Wallen. With summer rounding to an end, there is still time to “Stroll” through some memorable experiences right here in our valley.

Some of our favorite picks include:

Visit the Desert Botanical Museum at night: Enjoy the cooler evening temps, flashlight tours, and food and drinks.

Arizona Science Center: From mummies to planets and space, you can explore this cool, indoor area as a family.

Phoenix Art Museum: The largest in the Southwest, it features works from America, Asia, Europe, and beyond. Enjoy this indoor stroll around these beautiful works held right here.

Kayak down the Salt River: You can hire a guide for a 2- or 4-hour guided trip down the river in your own boat that you rent.

Get ice cream: Why not? Take the family for an ice cream outing. Try Mary Coyle’s Ol’ Fashion Ice Cream (which has been around since the ’50s), Creamistry, MacAlpine’s Soda Fountain, Church, Nami, or Melt.

Welcome back to our area if you have been gone for summer, and enjoy a local stroll. Here’s to another great year, and counting on us to cover it for you.
