Tell us about your business.
Event Tender opened in February 2025. The dream is to be a one-stop shop for every aspect of any event. I provide
bartending services, mainly, as well as provide games, activities and a good atmosphere. The goal
is to remove stress and work for the host(s) so they, too can be part of the event. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but never knew what I wanted to do until Event Tender! The original name was going to be “You Got it! Services”, glad I rethought that one!
How did you decide on this industry?,
I started working in the service industry when I was 15/16. My parents had to sign a waiver! Ever since then, I have enjoyed catering to parties and their guests. When I started
bartending, I realized how important a well-made cocktail is to a guest’s experience. Too
strong, too weak, too sweet, it needs to be just right.
Anything extraordinary/unique that your company does?
I get involved with the event by understanding the theme, layout, plan etc. I almost become a
Party Planner that just so happens to be the bartender as well.
Given your business expertise and the nature of what you do, what advice can you offer to the residents of your neighborhood?
The experience one has at a party, restaurant, or event typically starts with the beverage.
Whether it be a cocktail, water, juice or pop. If the guest doesn’t know where to go or has a
bad cocktail, the experience may be affected.
What section of the neighborhood do you live in, and how long have you lived in the
neighborhood?
I am from Orland Park, off of 151st and Lagrange. Considered “Old Orland”. I was born and raised in Orland Park. My mom is from the North Side of Chicago, and my dad is from the South Side. Baseball was always a fun time of year in the Raynor household!
What are you your hobbies/interests?
Other than making someone a tasty Old Fashioned, or planning a party? My hobbies are
endless, but if I had to pick my top favorites:
- Golf
- Board Games
- Movies
- And doing all of these with my wife and family
