Robyn Holtz has been with State Farm since 2009, and in that time, she has walked right alongside her many customers to celebrate some of life’s happier moments (think: insuring a

brand-new cruiser golf cart). And, as the nature of her business sometimes dictates, she has been there through some of their hardest as well (flooding, hail … the list goes on). Having gotten her start in Mississippi, helping make her customers whole after several hurricanes, Robyn has a unique knowledge base when it comes to natural disasters. Robyn says, “Here in North Texas, we don’t see as many large catastrophic claims, but when tornadoes, hail, or winter freezes hit, my customers know we will be there, and they can count on us.”

With the plethora of choices for insurance agents available, why should you choose Robyn and her team? Robyn explains it this way: “My husband, Brent Holtz, is also a State Farm Agent, and we share the same office. We are the perfect duo for training our team, assisting our customers, and giving back to the community. When someone signs up with our office, they

aren’t just getting my team; they are also getting access to my husband and his team.” In fact, Robyn, Brent, and their team have a combined over 100 years of experience with State Farm.

When asked what advice she had for our readers, Robyn had this to say: “The best advice I can give to residents and homeowners is never to assume you’re fully protected. Home insurance can be quite complex, and there can be numerous exclusions that you aren’t aware of until you file a claim, and, by then, it’s too late to switch.”

Robyn says the winter freezes in the last couple of years are an unfortunate example of

people finding out too late that they were not fully insured.

 

Another reason Robyn is at the top of her game, so to speak, is her commitment to continuing her education and serving her community.  Robyn says she and Brent both have their Chartered Financial Consultant Designations through the American College. Plus, I have my

master’s in Business Administration.  We are always striving to improve and provide the very best experience and service for our customers. 

 

Robyn is also currently serving in her 2nd term on The Colony City Council.  She was elected in 2021 to City Council Place 2, an “At-Large” position that serves the entire city.  Robyn was humbly and gratefully re-elected to her 2nd term in November 2024.  Robyn strives to not only help her customers but also make an impact on the lives of others around her, making the community a better place for everyone.    

 

Robyn and Brent love to take their children out on the lake or to nearby parks when they are not working. Robyn says that having 3 children under the age of 5 is their biggest blessing from God, but it also keeps us quite busy. 

They also have a 9-year-old Great Dane and a newly added Great Dane puppy, named Skye.   Both make regular appearances in their office. One fun fact worth mentioning is that both Robyn and Brent have been featured in national State Farm commercials; Robyn’s aired

during 2019 on various networks and shows, including the NFC Championship and at the end of the Super Bowl.  Brent was in three separate commercials that aired on ESPN in 2018 and 2019. They were chosen for these roles to recognize their hard work and dedication to

their customers, which Robyn calls “a huge honor.” In true State Farm form, they are super funny and worth a “Google.”

 

They just recently built a brand-new office building and moved in November 2024.
