Where/why did you get your pet?
We’ve always been dog people. After the passing of our last dog, Mellie, we were looking around at breeders in the SC / NC area and came across Silver Creek Goldendoodles in NC. Come to find out there was a litter of puppies on the way, and well the rest is history!
Is there a story behind its name?
We shamelessly took his name from the TV series, Scandal.
Anything special or unusual about them (talents/quirks)?
We swear his neck is double jointed. The way he can move his neck doesn’t seem humanly possible, haha!
What do you like best about your pet?
His personality. If you know Fitz, you know he’s a confident, energetic, & playful pooch!
Where are some of your pet’s favorite places to play or visit?
He’s not picky! He loves to be outside, play fetch, and run with other dogs. We frequent the Pitt Street Bridge & Alhambra Hall dog park.
Any funny stories?
Too many, he’s kind of a goof ball. He frequently invites himself into our neighbors house - as I said above “confident”.
How spoiled is your pet?
On a scale of 1 to spoiled, VERY spoiled.
What else should we know about your pet and/or how your pet has enriched your home/family?
He’s been a great forcing mechanism to pick up shoes and put clothes away. Fitz is always looking to play, so if he has an opportunity to run around the house with something he knows he shouldn’t have, he will!
