From lobsters, lighthouses, and land, the Pine Tree State, also known as ‘Vacationland’, is breathtaking! The rocky coastlines and stunning views will move you, while the mountains, forest, and the search for moose will capture you. 

Highlights from my trip consist of visiting the Marginal Way, numerous coastal lighthouses near Portland, the famous restaurant called Red’s Eats for Maine’s #1 lobster roll where the line was 2 hours long, cabin and lake life in Rangeley on Mooselookmeguntic, waking up before 5AM to search for moose, and driving the scenic highways for leaf peeping!
