Protecting What Matters Most

For more than two decades, Jorge Aragon has built his business by putting relationships, service, and the East Texas community first.

Farmers Insurance agent Jorge Aragon has built his career over the past 24 years through hard work, relationship-building and community involvement. Jorge focuses on helping individuals and businesses protect their assets. Today, he serves the state of Texas with office locations in Jacksonville, Tyler and Wills Point. He has also recently expanded into the state of California. His agency has been recognized as the Agency of the Year in its district for 10 consecutive years and has been selected for the Farmers Insurance President’s Council, a distinction reserved for the top 1% of agencies nationwide.

Jorge earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in finance from the University of Texas at Tyler. After college, he earned his finance license with plans to become a financial advisor. “My journey in the insurance industry began with a desire to serve others and make a lasting impact in my community,” Jorge said. “However, I was introduced to the insurance industry along the way, and it quickly became where I discovered my true passion.”

In his current role, Jorge assists clients with insurance needs while also providing support through various financial services. This approach allows his team to provide comprehensive guidance and long-term value. Jorge has owned his agency for 16 years and is supported by a team of professionals with more than 80 years of combined experience. Together, they offer property and casualty insurance, including auto, home, renters and commercial coverage, as well as life, health and financial services.

Jorge and his team prioritize relationships over transactions. They aim to understand each client’s needs and goals to provide personalized guidance. This commitment to the community led to the founding of “Aim for Good,” a charitable cornhole event that raises funds for nonprofit organizations, local families and neighbors in need. In addition to this event, the team regularly donates to various charities and volunteers with groups across East Texas. During the holiday season, they provide turkeys and gift cards to families in need.

Outside of the office, family remains Jorge's primary focus. “My wife and I are proud parents of three beautiful children, and their love and support keep me grounded, driven and focused on leading by example, building a legacy and creating opportunities for others,” Jorge said.

Looking toward the future, Jorge plans to pursue thoughtful growth and expand the agency's impact. “We are actively working toward opening offices in additional states, allowing us to serve more families and businesses while maintaining the same relationship-driven approach that has defined our agency from the beginning,” Jorge said. “Equally important to our growth is the continued expansion of our ‘Aim for Good’ charity initiative. Our goal is to grow this event into a larger platform that raises even greater support for nonprofit organizations and families in need.” As the agency moves forward, Jorge remains committed to service, community and connection.
