Turning the Page Together
Could Oak Creek Be Ready for a Book Club?
There’s something special about summer reading, slower evenings, poolside pages, beach bags stuffed with novels, and finally having time to dive into the books we’ve been meaning to read all year long. It got me thinking. Could Oak Creek have its very own neighborhood book club?
Whether you love gripping thrillers, inspiring nonfiction, heartfelt fiction, historical novels, or just the smell of a brand-new book, this could be a fun opportunity to connect with fellow readers right here in our community.
The vision is simple: good books, relaxed conversation, and a chance to meet neighbors in a meaningful way. Imagine gathering once a month over coffee, appetizers, or a glass of wine to discuss a great read and enjoy great company. No pressure. No homework stress. Just community and conversation.
I would love to gauge interest in starting (or joining) an Oak Creek book club through Stroll Oak Creek. Meeting locations could rotate between local coffee shops, restaurants, patios, or even neighborhood homes. We could vote on books together and choose a variety of genres so there’s something for everyone.
Already part of a book club and open to welcoming new members? I’d love to hear from you as well!
