Par for the Course: Landry Joins the Musgrove Team
With a name full of family ties and a Masters-themed entrance, Landry Douglas Musgrove is the newest beloved addition to the Musgrove crew.

Stroll Oak Creek has a brand new handsome resident. Meet Landry Douglas Musgrove, who
joined the neighborhood community, and the world, on April 13th at 7:20 p.m. Landry is the
son of Justin and Kelsey Musgrove, and the brother of John Morgan and Brooks.
Landry’s name has special meaning to the family. His middle name, Douglas, is Justin’s father’s
name. His first name comes from Landry Parish in Louisiana, which Justin happened to be
driving through on a work trip when he took note of the name. “Justin and I both went to
Louisiana Tech University, so a little nod to Louisiana is fitting,” Kelsey shares.

Landry was born seven pounds and fourteen ounces, and twenty and a half inches. He was born
at home, with the Masters playing in the background. “His first birthday party will definitely be
Masters themed,” says Kelsey. “His big brothers met him the next day and were immediately
smitten.”
Both John Morgan and Brooks are doing great with the transition of adding a little brother to
the routine. John Morgan loves being the biggest brother, while Brooks' reaction is a healthy
mix of excitement and indifference. Their favorite job is pushing the stroller.
With Landry’s arrival, the Musgroves graciously received items passed down for baby Landry.
“Anytime anyone passes down something from their babies, I consider it special,” Kelsey says.
“Those things aren’t just objects, they hold memories and moments in time of someone else’s
baby growing.” The Musgroves remember so many beautiful moments leading up to Landry’s
birth, but one memory that they will always cherish is the sweet prayer Nicole Fennell and her
daughter prayed over them at the baby shower.
Any life entering the world is a beautiful and special occasion, and worth celebrating. The addition of Landry Douglas to the Musgrove family, the Oak Creek community, and the world is joyous. Welcome to the world, little Landry! We’re all very excited to meet you.
