From Bug Snacks to Belly Rubs: Life According to Murphy
This Happy-Go-Lucky Springer Spaniel Lives Each Moment with Tail-Wagging Enthusiasm

Meet Murphy, the one-year-old English Springer Spaniel. Although her breed is meant for bird hunting, Murphy enjoys spending the majority of her time roughhousing with her big brother Lambeau, playing in the rain and puddles, eating bugs, and snuggling on the couch with her paw-rents. “We got Murphy when she was nine weeks old,” says Murphy’s paw-mom, Hailey. “We knew her older brother, Lambeau, needed a sibling to play with.” Murphy is living her purpose, and happy to do it!
Hailey shares that Murphy doesn’t have a backstory for her name, but notes that Murphy will respond to some of her cute nicknames like Smurphy or Smurf. Hailey also says that Murphy is “an absolute lover girl. Between her sweet attitude and her stinky puppy kisses, she melts hearts at first sight.”
Murphy is a multi-talented pup. She knows an endless amount of tricks, including, but not limited to sit, down, stay, shake, play dead, dance, speak, and roll over, among many more! While she’ll perform for various treats, her favorite reward is a Crema Pup Cup. Fetch is one of her favorite games, which she enjoys with any sort of ball.
When Murphy isn’t playing with her big brother, Lambeau, she enjoys inviting her girls, Lily and Zoe, over for some play time. She loves playing at the True Vine dog yard and meeting new friends at Bossart Bark Park. Around the neighborhood, she likes taking long walks to The Coco Bean on Legacy trail. If Murphy could choose any adventure in the world, she would love to visit a water park. Relaxing on the lazy river, jumping in the pool, splashing around in the water, and taking a lucky ride down the water slides would be heaven for Murphy! The only way it would be better would be to spend that water park day with her brother and best puppy pal.
