I love my community for so many reasons. We are surrounded by beautiful nature and enjoy the best of both worlds—close enough to the excitement of city life, yet far enough away to experience the relaxed, resort-like atmosphere that makes Westlake Village feel special every day.

One of the things I appreciate most about living here is our strong sense of community. As a self-proclaimed “girly girl,” I love discovering local boutiques where I can find something unique—whether it’s a special gift for a friend or the perfect outfit for an event.

My number-one favorite shop is Ilene’s Boutique in the North Ranch Shopping Center. This local gem has been part of our community for more than 30 years and is my go-to for everything from stylish casual wear to elegant dresses.

Ilene, the boutique’s namesake, is often there in person, warmly welcoming customers and sharing her expert eye for fashion. Her passion, along with the help of her wonderful staff, makes every visit feel personal and fun. I like to joke that whether I need something for a friend’s cocktail party—or even a visit to Buckingham Palace—I know I could walk into Ilene’s and find the perfect outfit.
