Angie and Gabriel Koros recently hosted a joyful baby gender reveal and baby shower for their daughter, Kimberly Ibarra Koros, and her husband, Marcos Ibarra, on March 15th. The celebration was held at the Koros family’s North Ranch home, where family and friends gathered to share in the couple’s exciting news.

Approximately 60 guests attended the special occasion, enjoying an afternoon filled with great food, entertainment, and meaningful moments. Catering for the event was provided by 805 Quesa Birria Tacos, a mobile catering service,  that kept guests well fed with carne asada and birria tacos along with piña and horchata agua frescas. 

Entertainment added to the festive atmosphere, with the sounds of steel drums playing Caribbean music creating a lively and celebratory setting for everyone in attendance. San Diego Party Tribe @sandiegopartytribe, a luxury balloon company, styled the event.⁠ 

Activities throughout the day kept guests of all ages engaged, including hands-on activity where guests stenciled baby onesies as personalized gifts for the parents-to-be. Children attending the event also enjoyed a jumper, giving them their own space for fun while the adults celebrated.

The highlight of the afternoon was the creative and fun gender reveal. In a playful showdown, pink and blue baby characters “duked it out” to determine the big news. Cheers erupted when the blue baby came out victorious, revealing that Kimberly and Marcos are expecting a baby boy. Guests joined the celebration by releasing cans of blue smoke, marking the exciting moment with cheers and congratulations.

Family members present included Angie’s son Peter and his wife Angela, along with their sons Bradley, 4, and Brison, 3, and her brother-in-law Tiboor Koros. Marcos family included  Eva Ibarra, Rodrigo Ibarra, Román Ibarra and Janet and Olaf.

 The celebration was a wonderful reflection of the love and support surrounding Kimberly and Marcos as they prepare to welcome their son. With such a strong network of family and friends already cheering him on, their baby boy is already off to a very special start.
