Founder Brad DeVries ventured into the world of entrepreneurship after a dynamic and inspiring career. DeVries graduated from Centre College in Danville, KY, served 8 years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, flew the AV-8B Harrier in the first Gulf War, and spent 33 years in real estate—first in residential development and later as President and CEO of 3 regional real estate firms.
“Having worked in the world of homes and communities, I wanted to build a business that was related to both,” he said. “I also hoped to build a business that members of my family could join me in.” DeVries’ family includes his wife Jennifer (married 41 years!), their 8 children, and 18 grandchildren.
