List of Ingredients
Burgers:
2 lb. ground beef, 80/20
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Seasoning salt (We use Chicago Steak Seasoning from Penzey's)
8 slices of American Cheese
8 hamburger buns, buttered and toasted
Cooking Instructions
Add Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef, and as you divide the hamburger into eight pieces, form them into loosely formed balls. Chill for 30-60 minutes. Heat griddle (Blackstone, electric cooktop, or cast iron skillet) to 375 degrees F. Place a ball of hamburger on a hot griddle. Cover with a piece of parchment paper and press down with a large spatula or bacon press. Get the patty as thin as you can. Liberally season with seasoning salt or your favorite grilling seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip with a spatula, making sure to scrape up the crusty skin that has formed on the underside. Season again with seasoning salt and cover with a slice of cheese. Cook for 1-2 more minutes. Place on toasted bun with desired sauce, condiments & toppings.

Have fun playing around with different toppings:
-Add on some grilled onions or sautéed mushrooms for extra savoriness
-Try a different cheese such as Swiss, Pepper Jack, or Provolone
-Instead of Smash sauce, try a BBQ sauce, aioli, or mayo.
-Add fresh, summer veggies such as lettuce and tomatoes if you like!
