Hi! We’re Willow and Murphy, two young dogs lucky enough to call the Lukcic family home. While our names don’t have any special story behind them, our family says they suit us perfectly. Of course, they usually call us by one of our many nicknames instead.

I’m Willow, the older sister. I’m a nearly 2-year-old Red Merle, and if you ask my family, they’ll tell you I’m full of sass and energy. I can jump like a kangaroo, even from a sitting position, and I’ve surprised everyone by launching myself onto the backyard playground while our human brothers, Mason and Austin, are playing. I’m also pretty smart, and I’m not afraid to let everyone know when dinner is late. Sometimes that means tipping over my food bowl just to make my point.

I’m Murphy, an 11-month-old Blue Merle. Even though I’m younger, I grew bigger than Willow months ago. I’m the calm one in the family. I’d rather sit back and watch whatever wild adventure Willow comes up with next. I love being close to my people and am happiest when I’m by their side.

Willow came home first, but it didn’t take long for everyone to realize she needed a partner who could keep up with her endless energy. That’s when I joined the family. We’ve been inseparable ever since.

Life at our house is never boring. We spend hours racing around the backyard, chasing each other, and finding new ways to get into mischief. When we’re not zooming around outside, you’ll usually find us curled up together for a nap. There really isn’t much in between. We’re either full speed ahead or completely worn out.

Our family says every day with us is a funny story, and we think they’re right. We love making everyone laugh, whether it’s with one of Willow’s dramatic moments or my oversized attempts to squeeze into the perfect cuddle spot.

If you’re wondering whether we’re spoiled, the answer is absolutely yes. We’ve wrapped every member of the Lukcic family around our paws, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re more than pets. We’re family. We’re loved, included in everything, and reminded every day just how lucky we are to have found our forever home.

We think we make a pretty great team. Willow brings the excitement, I bring the calm, and together we make every day an adventure for the Lukcic family.
