The Murrysville Community Library recently celebrated the grand reopening of its newly renovated Adult and Teen Room with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the updated space, and light refreshments.

The beautiful new area features thoughtful improvements, including quiet study rooms, a redesigned collection flow, and welcoming spaces for readers of all ages. This project represents a meaningful investment in learning, connection, and opportunity for the Murrysville community.

The renovation was financed in part by grant funding from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority. Additional support came through state funding, LSA grant funding, which Representative Jill Cooper’s office assisted with, and generous contributions from local donors committed to strengthening community learning spaces.

Congratulations to Library Director Katherine Neidig, Board President Terri Wubben, and the entire library team for their leadership in bringing this vision to life. This beautiful new space will serve Murrysville residents for years to come.
