The Dublin AM Rotary Club is celebrating its 35th Anniversary Year in 2025. As part of the global service organization Rotary International, the Dublin AM Rotary Club’s mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Founded in June 1990 with 15 members, the club has grown to nearly 100 members.
The club’s many recent and upcoming acts of service include, adopting a weekly Dublin-area Meals-on-Wheels route, volunteering with the Dublin Food Pantry, collecting in-kind donations at weekly meetings in support of community physical and mental health programs, participating in the annual Dublin Community Service Day, awarding scholarships to graduating Dublin City Schools students, and hosting fundraising events to benefit many local nonprofit organizations.
As part of their anniversary celebration, Dublin AM Rotary will produce 35 moments of giving, sharing easy to implement and meaningful opportunities for people to engage in an act of kindness, charity and friendship.
During his one-year term as president, Gene Oliver has worked to expand club membership and invites guests and prospective members to learn about upcoming projects and how to get involved. The club’s weekly meetings are held on Fridays at 7:30am at the Country Club at Muirfield Village to learn about upcoming projects and how to get involved.
"Dublin is such a giving community. The Dublin AM Rotary Club is an ideal opportunity to join your neighbors, local businesses, and community leaders to promote community service and goodwill,” said Oliver. Learn more at dublinam.org
