The Dublin Education Foundation 2025 Elevate Education fundraiser held at The Exchange at Bridge Park resonated with incredible success thanks to 300+ attendees,  generous event sponsors and partners, community members, winning silent auction bidders and Dublin City Schools’  educators, administrators and parents.  

The event offered an up close and personal opportunity to learn the value of  inspiring grants directly from teachers who put  grants into action.   Nothing speaks to the impact of grant funding more than seeing the videos of students’ learning and visiting with grant-awarded educators!  Event attendees enjoyed delicious Cameron Mitchell appetizers including a raclette bar and open bar service.  Special thanks to presenting sponsor, Columbus Roofing Co.,  and more than one hundred  event sponsors and partners for their generosity.

  

In 2024, the inaugural Elevate Education fundraiser  launched its endowment.  DEF is grateful for the community’s continued generosity and enthusiasm, making this year’s event one to remember, raising $75,000 and moving DEF towards its $700,000 endowment fundraising goal. The endowment will empower DEF to double its impact on grant funding to $50,000 by the year 2029. 

What is the impact on enriched learning?  This school year, DEF awarded a record-breaking $36,373 for innovative educator projects in DCS - those projects that live long past the days students experience them.   DEF continues to fuel educational excellence in its 26th year.  

On June 12, the DEF celebrated this year’s success with grant-awarded educators at the annual Mix & Mingle held at COhatch Dublin and its attached North High Brewing Beer Garden.  A special thanks to Dos Hermanos for providing appetizers and dessert for the evening.
