25th Annual Muirfield Greene Homeowners Association Picnic
Sloth from the Columbus Zoo.
The Courtier Court cul-de-sac was the scene of the 25th Muirfield Greene Subdivision Picnic on Saturday evening, August 16, 2025. A great time was enjoyed by the close to 100 friends in attendance. The MGHA provided the main food courses thanks to the grilling skills of Rick Schostek, along with the refreshments. As has been a long-standing tradition, Steve and Sheila Greene again were at the helm of providing the Smores for everyone. One of the highlights of the evening was a special visit by David Murillo, who provided rides around the neighborhood to many in his 1923 Ford Model T. The main attraction was a visit by John Swingos and James Gentzel of the Columbus Zoo who displayed an Opossum, Snake, Armadillo, African Tortoise, Penguin and a very large Sloth. Muirfield Greene has a nice mix of younger families with children, along with numerous other residents who have lived in the neighborhood since the late 1990s. The community is one of many smaller subdivisions which make Muirfield Village such a unique place in which to live.
