Prepare to Be Wowed by Vowed Weddings

Founder of Vowed, Kristina Ortiz Conrad.
Any jeweler will tell you December is the most popular month for marriage proposals. According to research published in their 2019 Global Wedding Report, theknot.com found that nearly 20 percent of prospective couples popped the question in the last month of the year.
And then? Months of meticulous machinations to make the perfect wedding day a reality. That’s when Kristina Ortiz Conrad, founder of Vowed Weddings, shows up to shine. Kristina established Vowed Weddings following years of recruiting and event planning for corporations around the country.
The Dublin Coffman and Ohio University graduate worked as a recruiter for companies including Cardinal Health, PwC, Pfizer and Microsoft. The last stop ended abruptly. “I spent three years at Microsoft in university recruiting,” Kristina recalls. “In 2023, I was unexpectedly laid off due to company-wide reductions.” With her career at a crossroads, Kristina launched Vowed. “I decided to take a leap of faith into something I’ve always been passionate about—wedding planning.”
Now, instead of corporate events, she spends her time planning major life events for local couples. Vowed Weddings specializes in crafting stress-free, beautifully designed weddings tailored to each couple’s unique vision. Kristina achieves that goal by building special relationships with her clients. “I take pride in being the steady, reliable presence couples need during such an important time,” she says. “It’s an honor to be part of such a meaningful day.”
Vowed Weddings has a three-tiered approach to service. Event Management/Coordination is a great fit for couples who have planned most of their wedding but need professional support in the final stretch. For couples who need ongoing guidance throughout the planning stages, the Partial Planning package works well. Full Planning is the perfect choice for couples in need of someone to manage the entire process.
In just a short few years, the company has earned a stellar reputation. Vowed also has worked with some of the area’s most desirable venues, including the Columbus Museum of Art, the Ohio Statehouse and The Westin Great Southern Hotel. Regardless of the location, Vowed promises unmatched service. “My mission is to ensure every couple can fully enjoy their wedding day without the stress of managing the details,” Kristina explains.
Kristina believes every couple has a unique story, and she strives to bring that story to life on the day that matters most.
