The Stanfield Family

Growing up in a small town, many young people can't wait to escape to larger cities. That was the case for Jeff and Regan Stanfield. Jeff grew up in Lanett, AL, and Regan grew up in Decatur, AL. After graduating from Auburn, these two were Atlanta-bound. They knew each other at Auburn but did not start dating until eight years after they graduated when they were both living in Atlanta. They loved the city life, but after marrying and starting their family, small-town life was calling, and with fond memories of Auburn, that is where they wanted to be.

The Stanfields have lived in Auburn, on Staples Court here in Moore’s Mill, for seven years. They are a busy family with three children — Sawyer (11), Isabella (aka Sissy, 10), and Stella (8). In addition, they have two cute poodles, Scout and Sugar.

Jeff is a banker with Auburn Bank but finds time to be involved in many things. He coaches Sawyer's baseball team and enjoys golf, running, and playing sports with the kids. Jeff also dedicates some of his time to the Opelika Rotary Club.

When Regan was asked about what she does in her spare time, she asked, "Does doing laundry and cleaning the house count?" Can't we all relate? Being an active mother of three seems like a handful. Still, Regan works for a New York-based boutique investment firm, City National Rochdale, and she has her own jewelry design business, Regan Allison Designs. "Jewelry has been my passion since I was very young," she tells us. Regan enjoys sitting on the porch with their dogs while watching her girls jump on the trampoline in the backyard and Jeff and Sawyer play ball.

The Stanfields son, Sawyer, is a busy young man entering fifth grade at Ogletree Elementary school in the fall. He enjoys playing all sports, especially baseball, basketball, and football. In addition, he loves swimming at Moore’s Mill Club in the summer and playing with friends in the neighborhood. You can also find him playing his Nintendo Switch or pestering his sisters.

Sissy will be a fourth-grader at Ogletree this year. She loves playing the piano and singing. She also enjoys cheer, dance, and swimming in the summer.

Stella attends AEEC and will be a second-grader in the fall. Stella is the youngest in the family, but she is fierce and runs the "girl gang" in the neighborhood. Like her sister, she loves singing, dancing, and swimming

You can find the Stanfields at the MMC pool this summer when they are not traveling to Anna Maria Island, FL, or enjoying Lake Martin. They love living in Auburn and Moore's Mill. It reminds them of how they grew up in their small towns. Busy lives take lots of hands, and the Stanfields love this neighborhood where everyone is there to help each other when needed.
