Stars, Stripes, and Montebello Spirit
Montebello celebrated America's Independence Day with a festive celebration!

Neighbors came together once again to celebrate Independence Day with a festive gathering at Club Bella—and it’s safe to say, this growing tradition is here to stay. For the second year in a row, neighbors enjoyed a fun-filled July 4th event, and this time, the party landed squarely on the holiday itself.
Even with many residents traveling for the long weekend, more than 70 Montebello neighbors showed up in their best red, white, and blue attire, ready to celebrate. The clubhouse was beautifully decorated in patriotic colors, setting the perfect scene for a summer evening filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit.
Core 450 provided a delicious buffet of traditional barbecue fare, paired with a cash bar featuring festive summer drinks. From pulled pork and savory sides to refreshing beverages, the menu had something for everyone. The relaxed atmosphere gave neighbors a chance to catch up, meet new friends, and share in the joy of the holiday together.
Though the event was officially scheduled to end at 9 p.m., many guests lingered long past that time, enjoying the cool evening air and one another’s company. It was the kind of night that makes Montebello feel like home—a place where neighbors become friends, and simple celebrations become cherished traditions.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing event organizers—Colette Mendelson, Jaime Micciche, and Sharon Cunningham—for their creativity, time, and hard work in planning this memorable evening. Their dedication helped bring the community together once again, proving that Montebello knows how to celebrate in style.
Here’s to many more Fourth of July gatherings—and to the strong sense of community that makes Montebello such a special place to live.
