LDU Coffee: Where Quality Meets Community in Every Sip

Join the Celebration on National Espresso Day, November 24, with Dallas' Coffee Connoisseurs.

Ranked the Best Coffee Shop in Texas, LDU Coffee has made a name for itself since its inception in 2017. But brothers, Mark and Adam Lowes aren’t strangers to the coffee experience.

The brothers opened their first coffee shop back in Perth Australia. And I can attest from personal experience to the high-quality taste of their coffee. While staying in Perth, consulting for Woodside, a stop across the street at Lowdown Espresso was a must. And imagine my surprise when I walked into LDU in Dallas and found the purveyors of the excellent coffee in Perth, right here at my back door in Dallas!

Their fifth shop in Dallas opened this year at Greenville and Lover’s and I admit, I’m a frequent visitor. It’s not just the stellar coffee that beckons me, it is the atmosphere. As Mark recently stated, “Our main focus every day is the service experience. We want everyone to feel welcome, cared for and happy. We obsess over every single detail in the store to achieve this.
They certainly do just that. Every time I enter, I’m greeted with a smile and an authentic conversation. It’s more than the “good morning” and “have a great day” experience. It’s an ongoing conversation, dare I say “friendship” that has blossomed over time.

I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention the incomparable coffee. As Adam quotes on their website, “Our coffee is rebellious and unique. We use cutting-edge technology and an unorthodox method to offer a supercharged take on classic Italian espresso. Faster, bolder, heavier in texture, more flavorsome and more consistent than its predecessors.” Again, my personal experience meant one sip and an imaginary trip back to Perth, a full-body tasting experience. With five shops to choose from, a visit to any LDU coffee transports you to a world beyond the average coffee shop.
