The Art of Ava Ludwig

Art has always been a part of Lake Forest resident Ava Ludwig’s life. Now 16 and a student at Sacred Heart Academy, she continues to grow her passion into something both meaningful and inspiring.
From a young age, Ava loved to draw. She began with animals and cartoon characters before challenging herself to focus on more detailed work. She would spend hours sketching faces, carefully working on features like eyes and noses until they felt just right. That patience and dedication still show in her artwork today.
For Ava, art is a way to express herself and explore her creativity. Along with art, she enjoys photography and was involved in cheer through last year. No matter the activity, she brings focus and creativity to everything she does.
Her talent has already been recognized, with her work featured in several art shows. She is also a member of the art club at Sacred Heart, where she continues to learn and grow as an artist.
Ava is also using her talent in a meaningful way. She creates and sells colored pencil portraits and sketches, saving money for college while doing something she loves.
Ava has lived in the neighborhood for 10 years with her parents, Kevin and Shannon, who have supported her every step of the way. With her passion and drive, her future in art looks very bright.
