Eclipse Bank was founded in October 2005, beginning its journey in a temporary office on Chenoweth Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2008, the bank opened its first permanent branch and headquarters in St. Matthews, Louisville. From that single location, Eclipse Bank continued to grow with the opening of a second branch on North Hurstbourne in late 2020, followed by a third branch in Johnson City, Tennessee, and most recently the new headquarters off Old Henry Road near Lake Forest.

Since joining Eclipse Bank in 2016, Andrew Pyles has played a pivotal role in the bank’s growth and success. Initially hired as Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, he was promoted to Executive Vice President and in March 2017 became President and CEO. With nearly two decades of banking experience, Andrew brought leadership honed through previous roles, including market president at major regional banks.

Under Andrew’s leadership, Eclipse Bank has focused on strategic expansion, superior client service, and strong community engagement. In addition to guiding branch growth, Andrew is active in local nonprofits and civic causes. He has served on the boards of organizations such as The Healing Place and The Arrow Fund, and he was a member of Leadership Louisville’s Class of 2020.
