Angelo's Visits Legacy Ridge

Each night there was an event planned last winter for the neighborhood inevitably it would snow. Every resident knows you don't leave the hill when it's snowing for a 2-hour event that requires an hour of driving round trip. These Dinner Parties in a Box are the perfect solution!

Winston and Julie Tan graciously opened their home to a small group to enjoy an evening together centered around delicious food. Angelo Brunson, head chef and owner, of the famous Angelo's Ristorante in Coeur D'Alene personally catered the entire event with the help of his awesome staff. Anybody who's been around this area for any amount of time knows Angelo's as it's been around for twenty years serving high quality, authentic Italian food made from scratch daily. Angelo is passionate about using only the best ingredients and promises you'll taste the difference in dishes using grass-fed beef for example. After all, he is the chef who introduced Coeur d'Alene to a whole new standard of steak! It is by far the best Italian in town and the perfect place to share a bottle of wine with a loved one. Or maybe you want to treat visiting family to an unforgettable meal, Angelo's won't disappoint. There's something to impress everyone on the menu!

This Stroll Legacy Ridge event wasn't the first time the Tans have hosted Angelo for a dinner party. Julie had this to say about partnering with Angelo's, "Angelo has catered several events for us in our home and along with providing good Italian food he is warm, engaging and wonderful addition to each event." Another resident had this to say about the night, "We have not been to Angelo’s in CDA. We will be going now!! The food was excellent and perfectly prepared."

The old adage, it takes a village, also applies to planning a dinner party as well. Every Moment Events decorated the home with the autumn touch you see in the pictures. It was the little extra something you want to provide guests when hosting a party. Also, the Tans are big fans of supporting local businesses. They mentioned the best cream puffs in town coming from a cute shop by Costco in Spokane Valley, Beard Papa's. They weren't lying! Next time you're out that way for grocery shopping, reward yourself for surviving Costco during the holidays with a cream puff from Beard Papa's. Marc is the owner and would love to tell you the sweet story behind the name.

Nobody describes these events better than the attendees. Julie Medlen describes the night perfectly, "We have such fantastic neighbors and every time we attend one of these events, we get to know more of them. There was a nice amount of time for mingling beforehand that allowed for great conversations and an opportunity to get to know new people. In addition, the business owners that advertise in the magazine who attended, were a wonderful resource. Having a smaller group of people in a home environment made for such a pleasant and relaxed setting." Thank you to everyone who attended and made this dinner party a reality.
