Meet the Capomaccios

Strong roots, family traditions, and a love for community.

For the Capomaccio family, life is built on strong roots, shared traditions, and a deep appreciation for the community they call home.
The story begins with Tracy, who has called the area home for most of her life. Her family moved to the Town of De Pere in 1974, back when it was still known by that name before officially becoming the Town of Ledgeview in 1994. Aside from a short time living in Boston, Tracy has spent nearly her entire life in the Ledgeview and De Pere area.
Growing up, the surroundings looked very different from today.
“When I was young, we lived way out in the country,” she recalls. “Now it’s amazing to see how much it has grown.”
Today, Tracy serves as Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Nicolet Bank. In addition to her professional work, she dedicates time to causes that matter to her. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors for two local nonprofits, Family Services and Foster the Village, helping support families and children in the community. Having an employer that encourages volunteer work has made that commitment even more meaningful.
Thirteen years ago, the Capomaccio family settled into their current home. What stands out most about the neighborhood is the sense of connection.
The tight knit community and beautiful scenery are two of the things they appreciate most about living here.
Education has also played an important role in the family’s story. All three children attended Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School before continuing on to Notre Dame Academy, where they built friendships that have lasted long after graduation.
The oldest, Chloe, graduated from Marquette University in 2023 with a double major in Finance and Commercial Real Estate. She now works as a Client Relationship Analyst at Morgan Stanley. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants in whatever city she finds herself in. She loves to volunteer at Big Brother Big Sisters where she provides mentorship to children in our community.
Caden will graduate this May from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he has spent the past four years pitching for the university’s baseball team. After graduation, the plan is to continue playing baseball while also furthering his education. He will be staying in Minneapolis this summer where he has a wealth management internship at RBC.
Ella attends the University of Wisconsin Madison and stays busy with running, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. This summer she will take part in a two week pre dental internship in Peru, an opportunity she is especially excited about.
At home, the family is kept company by an eight year old Cockapoo named Lily. She loves being close to everyone and will never turn down a good belly rub.
Time together is something the Capomaccios truly value. Whether it is a short getaway or a longer trip somewhere new, traveling is always high on the list of favorite activities. Summers often include time spent in Door County as well as relaxing days at Tracy’s parents’ pool. That spot holds a special place in the family’s heart since it is where Tracy grew up and where many memories have been made over the years.
Family traditions have always been part of the fun too. When the kids were younger, St. Patrick’s Day came with a bit of playful chaos. The morning usually began with the house looking like mischievous leprechauns had stopped by overnight. Determined to catch them, the kids would design elaborate traps around the house. Despite their best efforts, the clever visitors always managed to escape.
When the family heads out for a meal, Bleu is a favorite spot. For vacations, Cabo San Lucas sits at the top of the list. And when football season rolls around, you can be sure the Capomaccios are cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
etween busy careers, college life, and family traditions, the Capomaccios remain grateful for the community that has been such a big part of their lives. It is a place filled with memories, friendships, and the kind of moments that keep bringing everyone back home.
