In January 2023, Laser180 owners, Lexie and Rena Agostinone, embarked on a journey that began with an intriguing idea and a passion for laser aesthetics. The sisters, both proud to have been raised in the Latrobe area, opened their business after a meticulous year-plus of research, learning, and training in the laser industry.

 

The spark for their venture ignited in 2021 when Lexie contemplated removing some tattoos. Intrigued by the process, she shared her thoughts with Rena, and together, they envisioned diving into the laser aesthetics business. Their service offerings expanded to include laser hair removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, and chemical peels.

 

With backgrounds in nursing and business management (Lexie with an RN BSN and Rena with a BS in Business Management), the duo sought specialized training. Both are now Certified Laser Specialists and Safety Officers, having undergone training at the prestigious New Look Laser College in Dallas, TX.

 

As a family-owned and operated business, Lexie and Rena take pride in offering personalized services. Their unique approach involves customization of treatment plans with transparent and fair pricing, distinguishing them in the competitive field of laser aesthetics.

 

Despite being a young business, their commitment to growth is evident. Lexie and Rena have plans to introduce more lasers to expand their service options. They've already become known for hosting injectable events every 2-3 months and offering non-laser services like VIPeel Chemical Peels and Cryo Treatments.

 

Family is at the heart of their journey. Raised in a small business environment, their dad continues to play a role, and their mom has been a steadfast supporter. Rena resides in Murrysville with her husband, two dogs. Meanwhile, Lexie, along with her daughter, dog, and cat, calls Latrobe home. They also get visits at their studio from their sister Dana who drops in with words of encouragment, gets a treatment, and they all get quality sister time.

 

When asked about their favorite vacation spot, the sisters reveal a preference for nearby resorts, enjoying short trips that keep them close to home. It aligns with their desire to stay connected to the community they love.
