"I recently took a cheese class with Cassandra and Monique! Not only did I learn the art of making cheese but we learned so much about cheese in general. It was so fun spending time with others as we worked as a team to make mozzarella cheese. Cassandra provided different cheeses and butters for us to try as well! The coffee butter is amazing! If you ever want to get a group together for a special team building session or just have a family date to learn how to make cheese, reach out to Big Island Little Cheese. I can’t thank them enough for such a great experience. This night made me some amazing memories I will never forget!" -Lori G.

"What a beautiful venue. I recently attended an event at The Lux - West Lane and was pleasantly surprised by how well appointed, incredibly decorated and equipped it was. This place is perfect for weddings, birthday or graduation parties, corporate events or a super fun Girls (or family) weekend! The back yard amenities are also great, from the patio, pool, putting green, etc. Loved it all and Highly recommend." -Yannet L.

"What a hidden gem this place is! Located in the woods off FM 2978, this beautiful house and grounds are amazing. It is multi-purpose and can host venues for so many different events from weddings to a B&B with beautifully appointed bedrooms. It has a full kitchen, meeting rooms, and a bar area. Outside you will find a fire pit, pool, and covered area plus a pickle ball court. This is worth checking out!" -Madeleine L.

Big Island Little Cheese, a specialty cheese shop in Old Town Spring, has a real passion for artisan cheesemaking. The owners first began their cheesemaking journey in Hawaii, where they fell in love with the craft, and now share that same joy and creativity in their local shop and through hands-on classes.

Lake Windcrest neighbors had the chance to experience that passion firsthand during a private cheesemaking class hosted at The Lux at West Lane. Although the evening was spent primarily in the large kitchen area, the venue also offers a variety of unique amenities, including a sparkling pool, beautiful bedrooms, and both basketball and pickleball courts. Its elegant design and atmosphere was the perfect place for an evening of learning and laughing.

Guests rolled up their sleeves under the guidance of Monique and Cassandra and discovered just how fun and intricate making cheese can be. The night blended education with entertainment and included a charcuterie board that showcased some of Big Island Little Cheese's specialty products. Between the beautiful setting of The Lux at West Lane and the enthusiasm of Big Island Little Cheese, the evening was one to remember.
