Ladies Lake Caroline Spring Luncheon

The Ladies of Lake Caroline held their Spring Luncheon on May 4, 2023. The theme for the soirée was “Sailing into Summer.” Guests entered the Martinique Clubhouse amid an array of summer-themed decorations. The interior of the Clubhouse was transformed into Summer Fun Themes. Each table depicted a different summer activity including golfing, boating, beach trips, bird watching, baseball, celebrating the Fourth of July, fishing, picnicking, and gardening.

A delicious luncheon fare was served beginning with summer sangria, hummus, and fresh vegetables, a main course of three delicious salads, and a dessert of fresh fruit served on Chantilly crème. Each guest received sunglasses, a lei, and a “flipflop” keychain for party favors. The start of summer was never more fun! Special guests included the staff of Lake Caroline and the new executive director, Jeff Portwood. As a special treat for the attendees, Gina Diamond, owner of Gina Diamond Flower Company and Stroll Lake Caroline sponsor, shared ideas for summer floral arrangements and tablescapes. Door Prizes were also awarded.

Following lunch, the Ladies of Lake Caroline were treated to a Garden Tour of three homes in Lake Caroline. The Hughes, The Thompsons, and the McPhail yards and gardens were beautiful, depicting Lake Caroline Living at its best!  Our photos from the garden tour will be featured next month. Stay tuned!
