Welcome to the September issue of Stroll Lake Caroline!
This is one of my favorite editions—filled with cheerful Back-to-School photos and inspiring stories of new beginnings. It always brings back memories of my own kids starting school, and now my grandkids.

I recently formed a Stroll Lake Caroline Advisory Board made up of neighbors in all stages of life. I’m excited for this crew to come together! They’ve already shared great ideas, recommended local businesses, and will help us keep your neighborhood magazine the best of the best.

This month also comes with a bittersweet goodbye. Our beloved Stroll Editor and Assistant Publisher Amanda Brown, has completed her final deadline with me. For many years, Amanda has been the heartbeat behind the scenes—writing, editing, gathering content, and keeping all four of my Mississippi Stroll publications running smoothly. She has been an invaluable part of the Stroll Mississippi team, and will be deeply missed. 

At the same time, we’re excited to welcome Marcie Wallis as our new Editor and Assistant Publisher. Marcie brings years of experience from Stroll publications along Florida’s 30A, and we can’t wait for the fresh energy she’ll bring to Stroll Lake Caroline and Stroll Mississippi.

While there are changes behind the scenes, I hope the transition is seamless for you, our readers. We look forward to seeing your tailgating photos, fall sports moments, holiday recipes, and autumn travel adventures—so keep them coming!
