Alfredo and Manuel are both originally from Mexico and moved to Houston in 1999. Since then, they have become US citizens and established families. Alfredo has been married for 25 years and has 4 children, his eldest Alfredo Jr. got married a year ago and is expecting his first grandchild in June. Alfredo is also an avid cook. He even appeared on the Chopped TV cooking competition. Manuel has been married for 22 years and has 3 children. He is passionate about golf and cars. Both Alfredo and Manuel’s children have attended in-state universities including Texas A&M University, University of Texas at Austin, and University of Houston.

 

Manuel graduated with a BA Business Degree from the Tecnologico de Monterrey and earned his MBA from Rice University in 2001. After graduation, he joined Gulf States Toyota, a private distributor of Toyota vehicles and parts based in Houston. He had a 20-year career before changing course and partnering with Alfredo to put new color to the world through the CertaPro Painters franchise. Alfredo graduated with an accounting degree in Mexico City Universidad Panamericana and finished his post graduate program at Dartmouth Tuck Business School. After moving to Houston, he joined an Industrial Distribution Company leading the Latin American markets and the U.S. Federal Government purchases. After a 20-year career, Alfredo also changed gears to open the CertaPro Painters of Central & Northeast Houston with Manuel in December of 2018.
