Meet Austin Bland, Owner of Black Atlas Garage Doors

Austin grew up in Brenham, TX, and has been in this area since 2018. His wife, Mariah, is originally from the Waco area, and moved here for school. They have a 6th grader, Alex, who keeps them running all the time. Their family of three stays busy with helping run the Black Atlas business! Austin does the groundwork of customer interactions and works in garages all across Houston, Alex is his “right hand man” in the field when he’s out of school, and Mariah does the financial and office part of the business.
Austin’s journey began working on large commercial sites in Houston, where he gained hands-on experience and a solid foundation in the trade. From there, he had the incredible opportunity to work alongside John Ramoin here in Kings Point. John’s mentorship, dedication, and support were instrumental in helping him build his own business. Austin tells us “I’m genuinely grateful for everything he’s done to guide and inspire me, and those early experiences have shaped who I am as a business owner today.”
My business, Black Atlas Garage Doors, specializes in providing high-quality, customized solutions for garage door installations, repairs, and replacements. I started this business because I saw a need for a company that values integrity, quality, and a personal connection with each client. I wanted to create a business that not only delivers exceptional craftsmanship but also builds trust and lasting relationships within the community.
