Meet Denise and Stony Gonce of First Tee Golf Packages

We are a golf travel business that works with people to plan golf vacations in and around the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, & Aberdeen area (Sandhills Region) of North Carolina.  Generally, we organize starting times and lodging for groups of all sizes and we do this in a way that takes the burden off the group leader or person in charge of the trip.  We are a small family-owned business that has a significant golf knowledge and familiarity with these courses and this area.  We create a genuine personal encounter as we speak with people who love golf and want to go play.  We maintain relationships with area golf courses and lodging providers so that those who book golf packages through us feel as though they now have a friend in the business.  With our personalized service, folks appreciate that we listen to what they want and work to provide a great golf experience.

First Tee Golf Packages has been in business since 1997.  Denise & Stony acquired the business in June 2023 and are interested in building interest in Sandhills area golf among people living in the mountains of western North Carolina.  Golf is a passion of ours.  This business enables us to stay close to the game that we love and provides us the opportunity to add to others’ enjoyment of the game in such a historic area for golf.

To the extent that Kenmure families are interested in a golf trip to the Sandhills region of North Carolina, we are happy to gather details on the type and duration of the trip and prepare quotes for the client to consider. Once we land on which package to move forward with, we handle the details related to establishing preferred starting times at selected courses and organizing lodging that suits the group’s size and interests.  Lodging options include motels, condos, & private homes.  The Pinehurst area is brimming with activities for golfers and non-golfers alike.

First Tee Golf Packages strives to be a good steward of the community by promoting youth golf initiatives and promoting an annual golf tournament that raises money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Denise & Stony were both raised in Henderson County and have been involved in golf in some form or fashion since childhood.  They currently live in Mills River with their two children, Vincent and Isabella.
