Leeloo
The Queen of Walks & Golf Cart Rides

If you’ve seen a blur of merle fur zipping down Bluff Drive or trotting alongside a golf cart, you’ve likely caught a glimpse of Leeloo—a five-year-old Australian Shepherd with boundless energy and unmistakable charm.
Leeloo belongs to Isle of Hope resident Christi Griffith, who moved to the neighborhood three years ago. Drawn to the beauty of riverfront walks and the camaraderie of neighbors, Christi and Leeloo quickly made the island their playground.
Leeloo came into Christi’s life in 2019, all the way from Arab, Alabama. The moment Christi saw the white cross on the pup’s chest, she knew the name had to be Leeloo—after the celestial heroine in The Fifth Element. Like her namesake, Leeloo seemed heaven-sent.
True to her breed, Leeloo thrives on activity and mental stimulation. She takes four walks a day, excels at tricks, and is rarely seen without a tennis ball in her mouth—or neatly putting one away. Her impeccable manners and sunny disposition make her a neighborhood favorite.
She’s no stranger to adventure, either. Leeloo has hiked portions of the Appalachian Trail and completed the Georgia State Parks' "Tails on Trails" challenge. When not exploring new paths, she enjoys cooling off at the Innovative Veterinary Medicine pool.
At home on Isle of Hope, she pals around with Maddie, Duke, Rags, Nugget, and plenty of other furry friends. Whether she’s patrolling the neighborhood, riding shotgun on the golf cart, or curled up with her feline sidekick Dallas, Leeloo continues to live up to her title as a "supreme being."
