In the Boulder foothills, life with Rebecca Carlson is an adventure, led by her pack, MahaVidya Siberians, who love to find the best trails and make heartfelt connections along the way. Their engaging personalities create a living tapestry of canine character. “Each one has a unique archetypal way that naturally shows us our own character traits, Rebecca says, “the joy, self expression, and how to be authentically yourself within a group.” 

Here are the six members of the pack, introduced by the personality archetypes that make them so wonderfully individual.

The patriarch, Skai, is a registered Emotional Support Animal. He’s very laid back but knows when to speak up to keep everyone in sync. His coat is a unique red gradient that Rebecca describes as “a deliciously creamy mocha latte.” He’s the sensitive foundation of the family but also a goofball who likes to learn new things.

Verité, Skai’s ESA partner, is the soul and matriarch, holding a huge heart space that keeps everything in order. She likes to greet everyone with hugs & kisses and everyone just loves her presence. She possesses a gorgeous ice-blue gaze and a coat like “a mocha latte with sprinkles of cinnamon.” As Sage-Artisan, she brings beauty and a loving, patient presence, embodying the pack’s nurturing heart.

From the first litter, Akasha is a true Scholar. She approaches the world with bright-eyed curiosity and an analytical mind. She has a graceful spark, a gentle, attentive disposition, and her quiet charisma draws you in. She’s fascinated by birds and thinks she can climb trees to get them. Her red coat has the soft, creamy tones of an almond milk mochaccino.

Akasha’s littermate and “twin,” Cosmo, is her brother in grounded, well-mannered expression. He’s a classic Sage-Warrior, playfully romping with his brothers, yet alerting everyone when behavior is out of bounds. He’s also the first to let you know when dinner should be ready, or whether you’ve been on an errand for too long. He’s often the first to greet you with a talking “awoo.”

Our beloved mischievous “Feeny” from the second litter is Rebecca’s energetic ‘wild card’ and favorite “Chocolate Boi.” Like a canine-version of Huckleberry Finn, he’s always somersaulting into your lap for a belly rub, or asking to go on an adventure. He’s boisterous, physically engaging, and always ready to investigate a new smell or person.

Phoenix’s brother, Helios (“Healy”), is the ‘central sun’ of the pack. Shy at first, he radiates calming, compassionate embodied love. Captivating with his vocalizations, he’s a true storyteller at heart, expressing himself with ‘Awooo’s’, big smiles, and exuberant youthful energy. Like his mom Verité, once he warms up, he intuitively exudes comfort and a warm hug.

The best way to get to know them is to walk with them. Rebecca hosts guided walks and trail hikes where you can experience these six distinct personalities firsthand.
