Meet Olivia

PRECIOUS PETS ON THE PORCHES OF I’ON

Besties: Ruby, Olivia & Bowie

I’m Olivia, an Aussiedoodle, half Australian shepherd and half poodle. I. turned 1 year old on Nov 23rd of last year. My parents Kim and Tom brought me to their home on Ponsbury Road in I’On when I was 12 weeks old.  I was named Olivia when I was born and my mom often calls me a longer name, Olivia Newton-John and then she starts singing.  I always loved my name and am happy to hear people saying it.  I have two older brothers, Thomas and Brendan, who do not live with us. I enjoy it when they come for a visit and especially when my brother Brendan stays for a sleepover while my parents are away for the night!

Living in I’On is great because I have soooooo many friends! Everywhere I go, I see my friends, both doggie and people friends. I’ve never met a stranger.  My favorite daily activity is playing near the Lake with all my pals.  We play, run, wrestle, greet and fetch toys. I met my two besties when I had been home for about a week, Ruby and David Bowie. They are the same age as me so we were our first friends.  My other best buddies are Kai, Wilbur and so many more!

I love to take walks, chase squirrels (there are so many) and enjoy quality time with my dad on the golf cart and taking boat rides. My other favorite hobbies are gardening, especially using the garden hose, digging and eating!

My mom and I went to puppy school and learned so many fun things together. We mastered a lot of words that I completely understand although sometimes, don’t feel like hearing ie: watch me, sit, wait, blah, blah, blah….

The naughtiest thing I seem to do is when I run away from my mom and the playgroup and go for a swim in the lake.  I get soooo hot in the summer I just can’t resist that water sometimes as well as the ducks, turtles and birds that inhabit it.

My parents think it’s so silly that I hide my special chew bones. When my dad takes me to the pet store and I sit in the front seat right next to him, I know we are going somewhere good.  He always lets me pick something and gets me a pup cup. I love hiding my treats in my favorite places under pillows and sofa cushions, deep in my mom's baskets and under my dad's work stuff.  I’m an excellent bone hider!

My friends enjoy my frolicking and happy nature and the thrill of trying to catch me.  We run through grasses, under and around the benches and trees and even sometimes to Wilbur’s house!! Although I’m cute and cuddly, I’m an outdoor athletic girl through and through. I’m great at meeting people and making them smile and feel happy and look forward to meeting you too!
