BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

CLEO & WYATT

You may already be familiar with the Eddy family because their horse, Laredo Lass, a thoroughbred who always leads the pet parade in Hyde Park. However, they also share their home with two other pets, Cleo and Wyatt, their mixed-breed indoor cats. Cleo is a 5-year-old cat who is named after Mr. Eddy’s great-grandfather. Cleo, a rescue from Rebel Rescue and is the “typical” cat. Her coat is like a tiger's, but she is far from it.  She is described as shy, quiet, and a little scared of her own shadow.  She prefers her owner, Bob, and always enjoys taking naps on his lap. She and her brother Wyatt have seen Laredo Lass but have not met her yet.
Wyatt is a different kind of cat.  He is the opposite of Cleo, very outgoing, confident, and a mama’s boy.  He enjoys napping with Christy. He also came from the Rebel Rescue. He is also 5 years old with a white coat. He enjoys playing fetch, bringing the toy right back in front of you. These characteristics make Wyatt sound like a dog, but what proves he is all cat is that he likes to sleep high on the top shelf in the living room.  One day, when the Eddys were getting work done on their house, Mrs. Eddy felt like something was going to go wrong, so she told the workers to leave the door shut, as her cats are very curious. The workers didn’t listen to her, not believing that the cats would go in, but she proved them wrong by later hearing a “meow” inside the floor! Of course, it was Wyatt. They had to rescue him from inside the floorboards. Have you heard the saying “Curiosity killed the cat”? I guess Wyatt was lucky.
The Eddys have two very different types of cats rounding out their family. Even though they are complete opposites, the Eddys agree they are “perfection”.
