At Home in Hunting Creek
The Voss Family’s Story of Connection

Since 2019, the Voss family—Hannah, Lucas, Ethan, and Noelle—along with their two
dogs, have called Hunting Creek home. In that time, they’ve become
cherished members of the community.
Lucas and Hannah met 12 years ago through a mutual friend at Outlook Inn. Their
shared interests sparked an instant connection, and after a few months of getting to
know each other, they became inseparable. Four years later, they were married and
started building a beautiful life together. Their family includes two children: Ethan, their
9-year-old son who loves soccer and dreams of joining the Air Force, and Noelle, their
5-year-old daughter, passionate about tumbling, dancing, and interior decorating.
Ethan, a third grader at Dunn Elementary, excels in his studies and is known for his kind
heart and strong friendships. When he is not practicing soccer with LouCity or sketching
his latest creations, you’ll find him gaming or hanging out with his cousins and friends.
Noelle, also a Dunn Elementary student, has embraced kindergarten with enthusiasm,
and her teachers rave about her positive energy. When she is not tumbling or dancing,
Noelle is busy playing with her American dolls or enjoying time with her family and friends.
The Voss family is also home to two loyal pups: Henry, a 10-year-old miniature
schnauzer who thinks he is the toughest dog on the block, and Maggie, an exuberant
1.5-year-old Aussiedoodle who fills their house with joy. This year, the kids added
Crayer and Jack, two crayfish they adopted from school.
Lucas works as a packaging solutions specialist for Associated Packaging, while
Hannah is currently a stay-at-home mom after taking time off from her career as an
administrative assistant at Associates in Dermatology Pathology Department. Both
Lucas and Hannah are proud alumni of local universities—Lucas from the University of
Louisville and Hannah from IUS Southeast.
Family Fun and Favorite Memories
When they aren’t enjoying the neighborhood, the Voss family loves to stay active. They
play tennis, ski, and snowboard (with Lucas being a member of the National Ski Patrol), and participate in dirt biking with the Saddleback East Motorcycle Club. They also enjoy traveling,
particularly out west for adventurous vacations filled with skiing, hiking, and exploring
new destinations. A standout memory for them was their trip to Las Vegas and Red
Rock Canyon, where they hiked, visited Hoover Dam, and enjoyed the fun sights of the
city.
Their favorite family meal to cook is salmon and veggies, and when dining out, they
enjoy visiting River House for a delicious meal. As loyal fans of LouCity, the Voss family
can often be found cheering on their team.
Life in Hunting Creek
The Voss family moved to Hunting Creek to be closer to their relatives, many of whom
were already living in the area. Their family loves the close-knit feel of the neighborhood
and enjoys spending time at Harrod’s Creek Park, especially during the summer when
they cruise around on their golf cart.
One of their favorite memories in Hunting Creek is the 4th of July festival, an event they
look forward to every year. The neighborhood’s Halloween celebrations are also a
highlight, with the kids enjoying the spooky fun and festive spirit.
The Voss family is also committed to supporting their neighbors. During the devastating
tornado in 2024, they witnessed an incredible outpouring of support within the
neighborhood, helping clear debris and assist those in need. This spirit of togetherness
is something the Voss family holds dear and is just one of many reasons the Voss
family loves being a part of the amazing community.
