Erik & Juliann Dybvik: Protecting Families, Building Community

Since 2011, Erik and Juliann Dybvik have proudly called Highland Woods home. What began as
building a house soon grew into building lifelong friendships with neighbors and weaving
themselves into the fabric of the community they love. That same spirit of connection defines
how they approach their work as insurance brokers—putting relationships first and treating
every client like family.

With 30 years of combined experience, Erik and Juliann specialize in income protection, asset
protection, legacy planning, and healthcare planning, with a particular focus on Medicare and
under-65 health insurance. Their mission is simple: to help people feel confident about the
future by guiding them through complex insurance decisions with clarity and care.

The Dybviks’ commitment to service extends well beyond their business. Between 2018 and
2020, they organized a golf outing for Country Trails Elementary School that raised more than
$30,000—funding a brand-new playground for students to enjoy for years to come. Their
dedication to giving back is one more way they invest in the community they call home.

In 2015, Erik officially joined Juliann in the business as her client base continued to grow. Since
then, the two have partnered in hosting educational seminars throughout the area, providing a
welcoming space where people can find trustworthy answers to their insurance questions.
They’ve also expanded their reach through a monthly radio program on WRMN AM1410 in
Elgin. Airing the first Tuesday of every month from 9–10 AM, the show is dedicated to all things
Medicare—delivered in the same approachable, neighborly style their clients have come to
appreciate.

For Juliann, helping others has always been more than a profession—it’s a calling. “I’ve always
had a desire to meet people and help them,” she reflects. That desire grew into a career when
she realized the profound role insurance plays in protecting families and businesses from life’s
unexpected challenges. By asking thoughtful questions, staying on top of industry changes, and
tailoring solutions to each client, Juliann—and now Erik alongside her—have earned a
reputation for reliability and genuine care.
Both remain committed to continuous training and certifications, ensuring that their advice is
always accurate, current, and in their clients’ best interests.

As Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (October 15–December 7) and the under-65 Annual
Enrollment Period (November 1–January 15) approach, the Dybviks remind neighbors and
clients alike of the value of working with brokers who represent multiple companies—and, more
importantly, who listen closely to clients’ needs.

Though the insurance industry is always evolving, with new requirements and training each
year, the Dybviks’ business stands as a testament to their dedication and perseverance. For Erik
and Juliann, the reward is not just in the work itself, but in the peace of mind they bring to the
families they serve—friends, neighbors, and community members alike.
