2022 Hidden Lake Auto Show

Sponsored by Michigan Landscape Professionals

It was a perfect day for a car show. It wasn't too hot, the sun was peaking from behind the clouds, and behind the curtain at the second Hidden Lake Auto Show were cool cars and trucks, food trucks and live music that you could say "shattered" the place.

A big shout-out to our sponsors who enabled us to put on this event for the community. Michigan Landscape Professionals sponsored this event, allowing us to have a Rolling Stones tribute band, Shattered, back for a second year by high demand, trying to provide everyone some satisfaction. Terri, Lloyd & Co. Real Estate purchased refreshments from Kona Ice for all who desired to indulge in the frozen desserts. Miami Glow Detailing provided an awesome gift bucket for the winner of Best in Show!

A special thank you to everyone who came out, participated and entered a vehicle. There were many, many votes to count, and all the cars brought a unique energy to the show, but there were only four winners:

Best in Show: Pete Dowding's 2015 Aston Martin DB9 (Carbon Edition)
Best Classic: Rolland Dittmer's 1955 Chevy
Best American: Randy and Kathleen Step's 1963 Cadillac
Best Import: John Dreher's 2015 Ferrari California T

It was a close call; Pete's Aston was 2nd place for Best Import, and John's Ferrari was 2nd for Best in Show by a few votes each! Seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones at the Hidden Lake Auto Show is a great community-building event! Hopefully, we'll see you next year one week before the Woodward Dream Cruise at the community center in Hidden Lake for another great day of family, fun, food and fast cars!
