Falling for Community: Our First Hidden Lake Family Photos & Fall Festival
The LeVine Family
There’s something magical about fall in Hidden Lake — the way the trees frame our winding streets in amber and gold, and even with this year’s warm start to the season, neighbors still showed up in cozy flannels and big smiles, ready to celebrate all things autumn together. This September, our neighborhood gathered to do exactly that at the very first Stroll Hidden Lake Family Photos & Fall Festival — a new tradition that brought together neighbors, laughter, and local businesses in a perfect celebration of community.
Even a little rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. We simply started an hour later, and by the time the skies cleared, families were arriving in full force — ready for photos, fun, and a warm dose of fall cheer.
A Festival Full of Flavor, Fun & Friendship
At the heart of it all were our incredible local partners, whose generosity and creativity transformed the Marketing Center parking lot into a lively autumn wonderland.
Kelly Stork Photography, sponsored by The Stork Group with CrossCountry Mortgage, captured timeless family portraits at a stunning photo backdrop designed by The Seasonal Standard Co. — a true showstopper of fall color and cozy charm. Families lined up to take part, and the smiles said it all.
Nearby, the Nest Real Estate Group booth overflowed with giggles and creativity as kids dove into pumpkin painting — some masterpieces, some delightful messes, all equally photo-worthy.
Residents warmed up at the Bearclaw Coffee Company truck, and right beside it, McGlinch & Sons served a splash of fall magic with their signature “Make It a Fall Festival Treat — Add a Splash” station. From Irish Cream in coffee to Spiced Rum in cider, it was the perfect pairing for a crisp September afternoon.
Over at Savor & Sip LLC, the comforting aroma of homemade chili filled the air, and as if that weren’t enough, Oak & Embers surprised guests with custom take-home gifts that made everyone feel like family.
Avant Fare Travel added a sweet touch by serving Blake Farms doughnuts and cider — the duo that officially made it feel like fall. Meanwhile, the Backyard Birdies Co. pop-up mini golf course (owned by Hidden Lake residents Melissa and Brad Hood) kept families laughing and playing together all afternoon.
Add in the balloon arch from Starrstruck Balloons, upbeat tunes from Young’s Entertainment, and professional event coverage by Party Fly Photography and AJ Love Productions, and the result was pure seasonal joy — with plenty of photos and video memories to prove it.
A Celebration of Connection
As the publisher of Stroll Hidden Lake, I’ve always believed that our magazine is more than just pages — it’s a reflection of what makes this community so special: our families, our stories, and our shared experiences. This event was living proof of that. Watching neighbors gather, kids play, and residents connect with the small businesses who support our publication felt like the heart of Hidden Lake came alive.
We’re so thankful to every sponsor, volunteer, and family who joined us and helped make this debut festival a success. Your support allows us to continue delivering neighborhood connections — and to give our partners meaningful ways to be seen, trusted, and remembered by the residents they serve.
Judging by the glowing reviews (and the dozens of happy faces in the photo gallery), it’s safe to say this is the start of a wonderful Hidden Lake tradition.
So from our heart to yours — thank you for showing up, rain or shine, with your warmth, joy, and community spirit. Here’s to a season filled with gratitude, connection, and plenty of reasons to celebrate being home in Hidden Lake.
