SWEET PUP

Sunny, an 8-month-old fox red Labrador with a mischievous streak, has quickly become one of the neighborhood’s most unforgettable pups. Equal parts spoiled sweetheart and fearless troublemaker, she brings chaos, charm, and endless entertainment to everyone she meets.

Describe Sunny's personality.
She is definitely very spoiled, she’s cute, and she knows it. Definitely a troublemaker, she will
eat anything she can get into (i.e. all the fake pumpkins that I had out for fall or kitchen
towels), and tries to jump in the shower when I’m in there. I find her on various surfaces;
front legs on the coffee table, back legs on the couch, standing on my nightstand.

She has a bit of an ego. We live in town, so we come across a lot of people going for short
walks to use the bathroom. When she sees a bachelorette group, she knows she’s in for
a lot of snuggles and pets and can even get people to lie on the sidewalk with her. She
has also decided my bed is her bed and tries to splay herself out on it so I won’t get in
and move her over.

Does Sunny have any specific talents / tricks?
Not exactly a talent or trick, but we get a coffee at Perks every single morning in season.
The girls in the coffee shop will always give her a treat, and she has learned to wait
directly under the surfboard by the back window for it.

What is her biggest fear?
She is andomly scared of fire hydrants and leaves falling from the trees, which has made for a
very interesting autumn.

Is there anything else that neighbors or pets would recognize Sunny for?
Her forehead has diamond-shaped wrinkles! I thought they’d go away as she got older, but
they’re still going strong.

Does Sunny get along with the other pets in the neighborhood?
We frequent many different places, mostly Thompson’s field. She has a dog squad
there that she runs on the field with when we get there early enough, and she is definitely
becoming familiar with most of the dogs we come across there.

Has she ever run away or gotten into trouble?
Has run away a few times to chase birds at the beach. One day, she decided she would
chase a bird so far into the water, which was how I learned that Sunny, in fact, could
swim.

What is Sunny most grateful for?
I’d like to say me (or the fact that I feed her), but it’s probably her lamb chop. It was a
gift from a friend on the day I brought her home, and now she won’t sleep without it.
She wakes up in the morning and runs around the apartment with it. She sleeps with it
under her chin every single night.
