Jackson “Jack” Blake Pugh is living the high life with his family, the Pughs. A mix between a long- and short-haired Dachshund, Jack thinks he's a Saint Bernard. “He truly has no concept about how small he actually is,” Stephanie shared. 

 

His skewed perception of his size is a good thing. Stephanie said Jack is very protective of who he is closest to. “He thinks he owns his people, and no one can get close.” But his favorite person is Kaegan, Stephanie’s 17-year-old daughter. Jack is super protective of Kaegan, and he follows her everywhere. 

 

Typically, throughout the day, Jack is pretty lazy. “He thinks he is a member of the royal family,” Stephanie said. Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, usually on the couch next to his Nana, who spoils him like only Nanas can. She sneaks him goodies that he isn’t supposed to have, and he loves her for it. But Jack also loves “anything remotely related to dog food or treats,” according to Stephanie.

 

Of course, Jack has toys, but his favorite toy is anything that falls from the dryer while mom is emptying it. Even at age 7, Jack still has some puppy in him!
