Bourbon Chicken
I made bourbon chicken in the crockpot and it was ridiculously good. Everyone cleaned their plates.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless chicken (any cut works)
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (we use low-sodium)
- 1 generous scoop of “jarlic”
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Add everything to the crockpot and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 3–5 hours. Shred the chicken. About 2 hours before serving, stir in a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce a bit.

Serve over steamed sticky rice and prepare for it to disappear fast.
