Angelika Mackey has built a life and career around beauty, creativity, and connection. From floral design and interior projects to event planning and private parties, she wears many creative hats — each one focused on bringing people together and creating moments that feel unforgettable.
“I feel so fortunate to serve my friends and neighbors in Glen Ellyn and Wheaton,” Angelika shares. “Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to expand my business, along the coasts of Florida.”
Rooted in Community
Originally from Poland, Angelika moved to the United States 25 years ago and eventually put down roots in downtown Glen Ellyn. Her late husband loved this town’s charm, history, and welcoming neighbors — and that sense of warmth is what keeps her deeply connected to the community today.
Four years ago, Angelika lost her husband to brain cancer. Guided by her faith, she found strength through the most difficult times. Now, she treasures life alongside her daughter Nadia, a spirited 12-year-old volleyball enthusiast, and their playful puppy, Bentley. Together, they love traveling, exploring cultures, and creating lasting memories.
Style with Purpose
Angelika’s European upbringing shines through in her passions for fashion, design, and cuisine. She starts her days with early morning runs and sunrise yoga, grounding herself before diving into her creative work. Locally, her role at a boutique in town allows her to help women discover confidence through style.
“Every woman deserves elegance and comfort,” Angelika says. “Sometimes, all it takes is one detail — a little spark — to make her feel her absolute best.”
The Creative Journey
Angelika’s career path grew out of both passion and life experience. Designing and building her own home on Forest Avenue was a turning point that revealed her love for bringing visions to life. Since then, she has blended floral design, event planning, and interior projects into a business that celebrates artistry in many forms.
“What I’m most proud of are the relationships I build,” she explains. “It’s not only about the finished product — it’s about the trust, joy, and connection along the way.”
