Leland

As a whirlwind of brown and white fuzz, Leland barreled into our lives as a puppy from central Ohio. The last pick of the litter, he quickly became first in our hearts. His first three months of life he traveled over 3,000 miles, from North Carolina’s Blue Ridge mountains, to West Virginia’s wild forests, to Pennsylvania’s hilly climbs, and finally to the sparkling shores of his namesake town of Leland along Lake Michigan. He took to his family’s outdoor adventure lifestyle quickly, and was soon leading mountain bike rides and trail runs through new terrain. An avid swimmer, he’s never turned down the chance to romp through a creek or dive into a lake paws-first.

Leland is a loving pup, ready with snuggles and a whole-body wag that starts in his fuzzy bum and travels all the way to your heart. Friend to children (especially his co-conspirator human cousin Audrey), dogs, and their owners alike, Leland loves making new friends wherever he can.
