Where/why did you get your pet?    Operation Kindness- Adopt Don’t Shop

 

Is there a story behind its name?   Well he started out as Gus Gus from Cinderella. Then we shortened it to Gus. But that was just too short, and he is such a good boy, his name got bigger as he got bigger.

 

Anything special or unusual about them (talents/quirks)?   He has never turned down any kind of food. Ever. He even likes his medicine!

 

What do you like best about your pet?   He’s the handsomest boy in the land. His favorite color is pink, and he has a llama obsession.

 

Any funny stories?  When Gus was an itty bitty puppy, Mom left him in the car with the AC running while unloading. A co-worker spied his cuteness through the car window and started jumping up and down playing with him. Gus promptly pounced on the door lock and trapped himself in the car. It took 1 hour, 6 grown men, and a call to AAA to get him released from car jail. He’s lucky he’s cute.

 

How spoiled is your pet?   He has more stuffed animals than our teenager and a closet of XXL dog clothes

 

What else should we know about your pet and/or how your pet has enriched your home/family?

 He loves going on walks especially when he gets to see other people walking down the street.  He has a dog girlfriend named Tina that he likes to have play dates with. He is learning push button commands. He learned Treat right away! He has enriched our home very much over the last few years as he is such a good guard dog and looks out for all of us.
