Hello Vintage Oaks residents, my name is Jack Dahlquist, and I am the owner of Eclipse Window Tinting. While our work often speaks for itself through cooler homes, reduced glare, and added privacy, I believe the most important thing to know about any service business is who you are inviting into your home or workplace. This is my opportunity to introduce myself and share why Eclipse exists — and why we do things a little differently.

Eclipse Window Tinting was founded in 2009, and I had the privilege of acquiring the business in October of 2025. Taking over an established local company was a significant leap of faith,

especially in an industry I wasn’t yet an expert in. But I was drawn to Eclipse because it aligned with values I care deeply about: honesty, craftsmanship, and treating people the right way. 

Like many homeowners, I’ve experienced the frustration of working with contractors and

service providers who oversell, underdeliver, or disappear once the check clears. Over the past decade, it’s felt like true customer service has become harder to find. I wanted to build a

business where people feel listened to, respected, and confident in the service they’re receiving — from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

With Texas experiencing high heat and strong UV exposure for much of the year, window film

has become a practical and cost-effective way to create a more comfortable home or
