Salon Kreed opened its doors only one year ago. Greg Chavez, owner and Master Stylist, has over 37 years of experience in the beauty industry. He has opened three salons and a beauty academy. Greg is trained in Paul Mitchell Systems and Toni & Guy, was a Redkin School owner for 10 years and has been professionally trained in California, Texas, New York, and Connecticut.
Greg is a man of strong faith and passionate about the beauty industry. In 2018 Greg sold his salon and took a break from ownership, spending time working on his personal
growth journey. When he returned to Colorado Springs in 2019, his passion for the beauty industry and his dream to develop a premier salon were reignited, and Salon Kreed was born!
Salon Kreed has a different feel than many salons in the Springs. Salon Kreed is a commission-based salon, meaning they do not rent chairs to independent stylists. This helps the Salon create a cohesive feel, where everyone works together to make Salon Kreed the best salon and where every client receives first-class service. Greg prides himself on being an “Educationally-Centered Salon,” bringing in trainers from all over the country. Salon Kreed carries top brands like the iconic Oribe, the French line Kérastase, and the prestigious Wilson Collective out of California. This solidifies the perfect marriage of elite stylists and top-quality products that set Salon Kreed apart from local competitors.

The most fulfilling part of owning Salon Kreed for Greg is taking care of clients and stylists. He loves making his clients feel confident and training his stylists to grow strong in their careers. This desire to build up people is how Greg keeps producing top salons and loyal clientele.
Locally, Greg works with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, supports anti-human trafficking groups, and donates to many local charities and organizations through his current clientele. He enjoys getting involved in things that affect our Colorado Springs community.
