For Ann Elizabeth and Andrew LoCicero of Eastover Place, the neighborhood represents a connection to family, friendships, and the community they call home. While the couple has lived in their current house for four and a half years, Ann Elizabeth’s history with the neighborhood goes back much further. "I grew up down the street," she said. Their connection to Jackson has continued as they have built their own family life in the same area where Ann Elizabeth was raised.

Ann Elizabeth is originally from Jackson, and Andrew is from Destin, Florida. The couple met while attending Ole Miss during Ann Elizabeth’s junior year and Andrew’s senior year. Their paths crossed in a real estate class, an experience that eventually led to a relationship and, later, marriage. They will celebrate five years of marriage in October.

Today, Eastover provides the setting for many of the moments that matter most to their family. Ann Elizabeth said one of her favorite things about the neighborhood is the community that surrounds them. "What I love most about our neighborhood is our great community," she said. "I love all the beautiful homes and yards in Eastover, and neighbors who truly know and care for one another."

For the LoCiceros, living in Eastover has also meant being close to family. Ann Elizabeth’s parents live nearby, allowing the family to spend time together often. "One of the biggest blessings is that my parents live just down the street," she said. "Our family is very close, so it’s easy to pop over for a casual dinner, let the boys spend time with their grandparents, or squeeze in a weekly pickleball match." Having family close by has created opportunities for memory making. "Living so close has made everyday moments together even more special, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything," Ann Elizabeth said.

Community involvement is also important to Ann Elizabeth. She serves on the board of The LeFleur East Foundation, an organization focused on supporting the Eastover area. Through her involvement, she enjoys being part of efforts that support the neighborhood and the surrounding community. "It’s rewarding to be part of an organization that’s working to make a lasting impact by improving safety, enhancing the beauty of our neighborhood, maintaining the positive momentum we’ve built, and encouraging new investment in LeFleur East," she said. Ann Elizabeth’s connection to Jackson is one of the reasons she values giving back. "Jackson has always been home, and I want to do my part to help make it a place where families thrive and people are proud to live," she said. They are members of Christ United, where they have built friendships and found a church community. Their faith continues to be a meaningful part of their family.

Staying active and spending time with others are also priorities for Ann Elizabeth and Andrew. She plays on a JLTA team through the Country Club of Jackson, which gives her an opportunity to enjoy time with friends while participating in an activity she enjoys. Andrew also enjoys hunting, adding another activity to the family’s list of interests. Outside of their neighborhood, the LoCiceros enjoy spending time at their farm in Canton and visiting Alys Beach.

Family time remains at the center of the LoCiceros’ days. Some of their favorite activities include riding the golf cart around Eastover and playing outside with their young boys, Grea and Walker. Ann Elizabeth is now at home with the boys, while Andrew works for Heritage Properties. Both previously worked in real estate.

Whether they are spending time with relatives, connecting with neighbors, serving the community, or enjoying time together as a family, the LoCiceros continue to appreciate the place they call home.
